Nothing is Risk-Free


Inflation risk:   Risk that the value of investments will not increase at least as rapidly as the rate of inflation.


Interest rate risk:  Risk that interest rates may change while the saver is “locked in” to a time deposit.

Financial Risk:  Risk of losing principal (the amount of money invested), and the return on the principal.
