What to think about before buying stock in a company?

• Sales (growth) for the past 5 to ten years
• Check historical prices (is it undervalued?)
• Has it split recently?
• EPS (growth)
• Do they offer a dividend?
• Is the company expanding?
• Is the company making new products or offering new services?
• Read the headlines – What is in the news?
• Is the company under investigation by the S.E.C.?
• Read the annual report
