The following documents, powerpoints, and graphic organizers help to organize the study of economics to align it more closely with Michigan Content and High School Course Expectations. They are focused on core economic principles, the 'economic way of thinking', and connect directly with concepts and lessons featured on the newest version of NCEE's Virtual Economics, VE.3.
All documents and powerpoints are intended for use in Michigan K-12 classrooms, as appropriate. Permission to use these materials in a non commercial, classroom setting is granted by the Michigan Council on Economic Education (MCEE) and the individual authors of the documents.

As the World Turns Use as a form for students to complete when analyzing a news story of your choice or theirs. News article should be attached to form with key sentences highlighted or underlined.
As the World Chuckles Use as a form for students to complete when analyzing an editorial cartoon of your or their choosing. Cartoon should be cut out and attached to form for assessment purposes.
